On February 12, a research delegation led by Wang Chunhe, Fourth-level Consultant of the Food Operations Department of the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, and Chen Jing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Pinggu District Administration for Market Regulation, visited GanoHerb. Through on-site inspections and high-level exchanges, the team conducted a specialized survey focused on whole-chain supervision of functional foods and Foods for Special Medical Purpose (FSMP).

Accompanied by Wu Changhui, Chief Engineer of GanoHerb, the delegation visited the R&D and Production Center and the Supercritical Extraction Center. The visit focused on the company’s production standards, the operation of its quality management systems, and the development of its inspection and testing capabilities across the sectors of general food, functional food, and FSMP.

During the tour, the research team spoke highly of GanoHerb’s achievements in the deep processing of Reishi, its FSMP research and development, and its full-chain quality control practices.

At the subsequent symposium, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the industrial layout and closed-loop regulatory framework of the FSMP sector. Consultant Wang Chunhe noted that the survey aimed to draw on advanced industry experiences to enhance Pinggu District’s regulatory capabilities—spanning from production standards to clinical applications. Additionally, the two sides exchanged views on advancing coordinated development between industrial innovation and regulatory governance.
This visit has established a strong communication platform between market regulation authorities, laying a solid foundation for deeper regulatory collaboration and promoting the standardized, high-quality development of the FSMP industry. Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening ongoing cooperation and jointly exploring innovative approaches to whole-chain regulation of FSMP products.
