Recently, GanoHerb Group has officially become a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), making it the first enterprise in the Ganoderma (Lingzhi) industry to join this international initiative. On December 2, 2025, Mr. Li Ye, Chairman of GanoHerb Group, was invited to attend the 2025 UN Global Compact Annual Meeting and its 25th Anniversary Commemorative Event, where he received the membership certificate on-site. This milestone marks the company’s entry into a new international stage of sustainable development.
The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, advocating for businesses to adhere to ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. It currently spans over 180 countries worldwide, with more than 25,000 corporate participants. As of June 2025, over 1,000 companies in China have joined, covering various industries. GanoHerb’s membership represents international recognition of its long-term commitment to sustainable practices.
As an industry pioneer that has achieved full traceability for the medicinal herb Ganoderma, GanoHerb has consistently passed four major organic certifications from China, the United States, Japan, and the European Union for 20 consecutive years. The company has established a fully traceable system encompassing strain selection, organic cultivation, production, processing, and testing. It steadfastly adheres to organic farming standards, rejecting any synthetic substances such as chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and growth hormones, ensuring the purity, natural quality, and safety of its Ganoderma raw materials.
Regarding social responsibility, GanoHerb has implemented models such as “Company + Base + Farmers,” providing employment training for farmers and arranging work at its bases. These efforts have helped over 10 townships increase village collective income, benefiting more than 5,000 farming households with an average annual income increase of 15,000 RMB per household, thereby contributing to rural revitalization.
Joining the United Nations Global Compact is not an endpoint but a new starting point for heightened responsibility.
