The journey of modern Reishi research has developed over more than half a century.
Since the 1970s, research on Reishi (Ganoderma) has continued to expand, with studies exploring areas including biological research, applications, cultivation technologies, and product innovation.
In 1996, the book Modern Research on Ganoderma, jointly published by Peking Medical University and Peking Union Medical College Joint Press, provided a comprehensive review of research related to Ganoderma. Following four revised editions, it has become a widely referenced publication in the field. The highly anticipated 5th edition will soon be released, featuring updated research developments and perspectives.
On July 24, the “Academic Seminar on Modern Ganoderma Research & 5th Edition Book Launch Ceremony for Modern Research on Ganoderma”, organized by the Medicinal Fungi Professional Committee of the China Edible Fungi Association and hosted by GanoHerb (Xianzhilou), will take place in Fuzhou, Fujian.
