Nowadays, eating Ganoderma lucidum has been included in many people's Spring Healthcare Plan. Active ingredients are the source of Ganoderma lucidum's miraculous efficacies.

Ganoderma lucidum is beneficial to the central nervous system, immune system, endocrine system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system and gastrointestinal system because it contains Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides, Ganoderma lucidum triterpenes, immunomodulatory proteins, sterols, adenosine, alkaloid and many other active ingredients.

Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide is the earliest active ingredient of Ganoderma lucidum discovered. In 1971, Japanese scholars discovered its existence for the first time when exploring why Ganoderma lucidum hot water extract could inhibit tumor growth. These active ingredients cannot be broken down by enzymes in the digestive tract, so they stimulate the growth of good bacteria in the gut and activate immune cells in the intestinal wall, which in turn initiates a cascade of beneficial health effects, including immune regulation, hepatocyte regeneration, antioxidation and regulation of blood pressure, blood sugar and lipids.

The bitterness of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting bodies comes from triterpenoids. Because there are many kinds of Ganoderma lucidum triterpenoids, Ganoderma lucidum has such a wide range of effects. The liver-protecting, anticancerous, anti-allergic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, cholesterol-synthesis-inhibiting, platelet-aggregation-inhibiting, blood-pressure-regulating, blood-lipid-regulating, osteoporosis-delaying, prostate-hypertrophy-improving and diabetic-cataract-preventing effects of Ganoderma lucidum are all derived from this group of active ingredients.

Compared with Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides, which mainly produce a positive effect "indirectly" through the immune system, triterpenoids can "directly" fight cancer cells, viruses, and bacteria. Since the two have different mechanisms of action, when they make a joint attack, the effect is often better than a single fight.

In addition to the above two "famous" active ingredients, Ganoderma lucidum has a series of other active ingredients. Immunomodulatory protein Ling Zhi-8 (LZ-8) has immune regulation and anti-tumor effects; sterols have the effects of anti-cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and anti-oxidation, scavenging free radicals; adenosine can reduce the serum aldolase level, inhibit platelet aggregation, and resist hypoxia in mice with experimental myotonia; alkaloids such as Ganoderma lucidum alkaloids A and B have anti-inflammatory effects.

Usually, a plant or herbal medicine contains only a few active ingredients. However, Ganoderma lucidum contains hundreds of active ingredients. So it is not surprising that Ganoderma lucidum has multiple effects and is different from the single-ingredient Western medicine.

In order to fully absorb the active ingredients of Ganoderma lucidum, it is necessary to consume qualified Ganoderma lucidum products.

1. Only products licensed by the state are reliable.

Some Ganoderma lucidum products are not approved by the State Food and Drug Administration before they are marketed. Products without drug or health product approval numbers are not only unreliable in efficacy but also unsafe.

Therefore, when purchasing Ganoderma lucidum products in China, you need to check whether the product has an approval number. Consumers should choose products with the "National Health Food Registration Number" logo, that is, products with a "blue hat" sign.

A product licensed by the state means that the raw materials used are in line with national standards, its claimed health benefits, main indications and safety have been scientifically verified, its functional ingredients and content contain certain specifications, and the product is produced in a GMP workshop.

2. See if the place of origin is in an authentic producing area.

The Wuyi Mountains are the main authentic producing area of Chinese log-cultivated Ganoderma lucidum. The Ganoderma lucidum cultivated wild-simulatedly on logs here is known as the "standard traditional Chinese medicinal material" by the traditional Chinese medicine circle, and the active ingredient content of the Ganoderma lucidum grown here can be more guaranteed.

3. See if the raw materials are certified by China, the US, the EU and Japan.

Only the raw materials of Ganoderma lucidum grown organically in the whole process can guarantee the natural purity of Ganoderma lucidum. If it can pass the organic certification of China, the United States, Japan and the European Union at the same time, its quality will be better. GanoHerb Organic Ganoderma lucidum has been certified organic by China, the United States, Japan and the European Union for 17 consecutive years, and has passed the certification of GLOBALG.A.P. GanoHerb controls the quality from the source and reassure consumers.

4. See how many international qualifications are obtained by the manufacturer.

A perfect quality control system can ensure the quality and safety of products. GanoHerb has acquired more than ten international qualifications such as ISO22000:2018, HACCP, HALAL and KOSHER for many years, ensuring the safety of Ganoderma lucidum from the farm to the tip of the tongue.

This March, start your Spring Healthcare Plan by drinking a cup of GanoHerb Cell-wall Broken Ganoderma lucidum spore powder.
